I think walking backwards most of the time is not fun, as you have to constantly look around and it just slows the game so much, especially when you come close to the traps, if you want to avoid them.
Have you been able to complete the game? :)
By the way, what did you use for maze generation?
I agree. It's painful. But I had a fun time making it.
And I used a 2D maze template and pro builder to make the maze.
Having fun is important:) I crunched the last day for 23 hours. If you are interested in generating maze randomly, take a look at my vid:
